The Tecajetes

The Tecajetes are located at Ave Manuel Avila Camacho, next to the Hotel Xalapa,  and next to the restaurant "La Estancia of The Tecajetes"

The name of the Tecajetes is due to a Nahuatl word which means stone bowl.

The Tecajetes were extensive sandy

The authorities built a zoo for some time worked and no longer exists.

It was rebuilt by installing fountains, planters, playgrounds.

There is a skating rink and practice areas for exercise, as we know it today.

There are ponds with a variety of multicolored fish,  a forum for presentations of urban artists, excellent walks with vegetation.

The activities we do in this park are:

• Picnic accompanied by family
• Exercising in the park at the top.
• Enjoy theater
• Admire nature

Recreational activities such as football, basketball, cycling, etc.

Certainly it is a quiet and interesting to tour.
